It was truly great meeting you tonight. What a beautiful spirit you are. I hope you join us again for drumming.
Hi Kat,
I graduated in '88, in North Carolina, so I could really relate to the show. The funny thing is, I imagined that the elite crowd would still possess the same cliquish mentality, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the unity that your group shared. I was unable to attend my twenty-year reunion, because of my disability (I live 250 miles from my hometown), but I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it even in the best of health. Our school was distinctly divided into "classes" (much like any school, I would imagine), but the "Snobs" were exclusively wealthy (though, not all of the wealthy students were snobs). Anyway, I had hoped that they might have gained some humility through real-life experiences, but I must wonder, when I learn that one of the "Top Snobs" is heading up our Twenty-Year Reunion/Golf Outing with Open Bar. Maybe it's just my own insecurity, but it seems to me that sipping margaritas on the green might not be everyone's cup of tea (so to speak). Was your High School the same way? Do you feel that being on TV had an influence on how everyone responded to each other? What theme do you think your class might have used for your reunion, had your class not been selected for the show?
Have you talked to many of your classmates who weren't on the show? What is their reaction to not being selected? I would imagine that some people might feel that they were better fitted for a certain role. Or, that they would have been perfect for a role that wasn't used (for example, "The Gay Guy")? That title wouldn't have applied to me, when I was in High School - I guess they would call me "The Closet Case". Like you, I date the opposite sex in High School, but I was very much attracted to people from my own team. I had hoped that there would be more lesbians on the show, because if I were at my reunion, I think it would be awesome to spark a romance with an old classmate. In fact, that has always been one of my deepest desires; I think it comes from sharing a past together (I have the same feeling about some of my old Army buddies). You mentioned that you had feelings about some of the girls you went to school with; have any of them contacted you, since the show? If so, have any of them been interested in a possible relationship with you? Are you dating anyone, currently? You also said, on the show, that you had a girlfriend at the time (although, I got the impression that things weren't going very well) - what was her reaction to your romantic interlude with Rob? or you flirting with some of the girls?
Do you think they'll ever have a reunion show of the High School Reunion show itself? I think it would be awesome to hear everyone's comments about behind the scenes info and what everyone has been doing since the show? For example, have you all kept in touch? Have new, lasting friendships been forged? Anyway, I realize that you probably don't have time to answer all my questions. In fact, you've probably answered a lot of these questions in the forums, etc. I just mainly wanted to let you know what one of your fans has on his mind. I regret not being able to get here sooner; I've been quite ill lately and I haven't been able to do much of anything. Today was a pretty good day for me, though, so I couldn't resist dropping by for a visit. If I feel O.K. tomorrow, I'll be back to browse your site some more.
And, I'm definitely going to check out your Kat Hats; I saw one earlier (in a forum, I believe) and it was amazing! I crochet too, and I must say that I am very impressed; the quality is phenomenal. I have no doubt that your hats will attract a lot of interest. If you're like many artists, you do it for the love of the art itself . . . admiring the fruits of your labor. I used to make jewelry for friends/family and I have to admit that I was very good at it; I think it was because I put so much of myself into each piece. Though, I'm sure that your intent is probably not to be a professional hat maker, I wish you the best of success with them. In fact, you're becoming quite the celebrity these days, with your voice-over animation work. I look forward to seeing Madagascar II, when it hits theaters on November 7th. :-)
Have a great day. :-)

Kat,
You were awesome in High School Reunion. I thought you were by far the most genuine and caring person!
Kat:
I loved you and the show. With my new job I am away from my wife and son 4 nights out of the week so I always looked foward to every Wednesday Night. I graduated in 1986 so I felt like I could relate to all the same things you all were. I was glad that you actually had a 20th reunion. Our senior class fizzled after a 10th reunion and never had a 20th. Oh well, best of luck to you. I had better continue seeing you in the credits for voiceovers and other acting opportunities. You have IT. Use IT. God Bless.
Hey Kat - you are an awesome person. If more people were like you, the world would be perfect!!
LOVED the High School Reunion show - so sad it ended. I agree with the other comment, if you guys did a sitcom or something like that I would watch it too!
My son and I looooovvvvveeeee Miss Congeniality. What an opportunity to work on that movie! You guys did great!!
Look forward to seeing more of your work. A blog about how you got into this industry would be interesting to read too.
Best of luck in your future. Keep on smiling!
Hey Kat thanks for the myspace add and I'm glad to hear you've got projects in the works, I can't wait to see them. Again you've been a real inspiration and a really good role model for the gay community, way to represent. I would love to see you do your own show because I'd become as addicted to the tv as I was during hs reunion lol. Anyways good luck in the future and god bless.
Hi Kat,
So here I am, signing your guestbook! You are amazing and I love you to pieces. You are so fun and spunky...and short, like me haha You make me smile! Love you bunches!!
xoxo
